Becoming Unbreakable:

I am Andrea. I’m a specialist prescriptive exercise coach. My business is Live Fitter Coaching and I teach on bone strength and back care, for individuals and organisations alike.

I transformed my own bone health and age-proofed my body by reversing osteopenia in under 4 years. I now show others how to build bodies that will last them through the years.

Strong backs, strong bones, strong muscles. That’s my goal. For me, and for you.

Whether you landed here because of low back pain, a diagnosis, a health concern, or the realisation that moving in midlife is becoming more of a challenge, you’re in the right place.

Why me?

It really bugs me when people don’t tell you why they have the credentials to speak on their topic. This is especially important in health education, because misinformation is so easily widespread.

I’m a fully qualified Personal Trainer, with additional specialisms in Level 3 Exercise Referral and Level 4 Low Back Pain Management Through Exercise. I’m trained to work with people who have certain health conditions.

I also have a First Class BA Hons degree in Applied Human Communication, which had a substantial physiological element to it, and I used to work in health intervention for young people - heading up a specialist alcohol project.

I have 15 years of experience as a freelance journalist including a column for the Guardian, but often, I wrote on health and wellbeing in the national press.

Later, I worked as a funeral celebrant. It’s a role I still take on occasionally. My career in the funeral industry has shaped how I think about wellbeing and fitness, and I prioritise health and strength over aesthetics.

I’m not a doctor or clinician though - what I offer is solid coaching advice and education from a foundation of bone fide qualifications and established experience.

What I do:

For individuals, I offer bone strength programmes designed for women navigating perimenopause and beyond, alongside guides and education on building bodies to last through exercise, nutrition and lifestyle changes.

For organisations, I deliver a back health programme in workplaces, including running a commissioned course for a local council, plus community back care classes.

My approach is built on evidence, not fads. It is grounded in exercise referral and low back pain management training, and shaped by my own experience of reversing an osteopenia diagnosis.
